Join us for the Opening Reception of our latest exhibit, Birney Quick!
Artist Birney Quick (1912-1981) produced more than 10,000 works of art in his lifetime, many of which were painted in Cook County. He was a teacher, expert fisherman, and founded the longest-running art colony in Minnesota, the Grand Marais Arts Colony. This showcase will highlight the many techniques and mediums Quick mastered, from watercolors to charcoals to wood carving.
Opening reception is Friday March 29th. Complimentary refreshments happily offered.
