This story of Charlie and Petra Boostrom describes the lives of one of the earliest Gunflint resort owners. Their love of the land inspired them to, first homestead and then, purchase a place on Clearwater Lake. Charlie’s skills as a trapper and builder are famous in the North Woods. He built the Clearwater Lodge and the resort’s many cabins as well as many other buildings.
